[pure:dyne] 20081106 Upgrade Problem.

I'm having trouble upgrading to puredyne 20081106 through Synaptic
Package Manager.

If I select it, I get the message
"puredyne:
 Depends: fam but it is not going to be installed".

If I select fam, I get a warning message that *lots* of other packages
will be removed. It looks like all of puredyne and everything I've
installed on top.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this?
