[puredyne] semi-embedded project using puredyne?

hi everyone!

just curious if there is anyone on the list knowledgeable about
embedded platforms.  I've been eyeballing this unit:

what a neat (and cheap) little board!  I'm curious if puredyne can run
on this board...from what little I know, the kernel is what matters
here, specifically having one ported to the arm platform.  also, would
the cpu power be sufficient enough to do anything music-related, i.e.
synthesis?

any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, flames, etc. are welcome!
