2g @mclduk was so easy! did sudo su and then make-live-device live
/dev/xxx and got the persistent system .. viva! #puredyne and its
developers

but my mini9 can't wi-fi
as you might have guessed ..
now my room doesn't have wired-lan
so will test more at my dad's place about a week l8er
